If you know Kendra's mom and you know her well, you will know that the one thing she enjoys collecting is turtles. Since her birthday was in February we decided to surprise her with a cake. Not just any cake though. We wanted to make a cake she would really enjoy, so we decided to make her a turtle cake. Since it was a birthday cake we decided to give our little turtle a birthday hat. For the shell of the turtle we actually used the soccer ball pan. Then we hand drew in the grooves of the shell. Meticulously going over the grooves in the shell time and time again with luster dust helped define them. In the end Sandra loved her cake and we loved making it! Happy Birthday!!!!
