This year for Mary's birthday we decided to make a cake especially for her. Mary's favorite flower is a peony so we decided to theme her cake around this. We had the idea to make the fondant covering the cake look like lace. We tried using our newly acquired stamp however we found it very hard to paint the pink. Next time we do a cake like this we will try something different to capture the pattern. Mary didn't want a special greeting on her cake. Happy Birthday Mary! Another year and another GREAT cake.
