These Mini Mouse inspired cupcakes, cake pops and cake was made for baby Yzobelle's first birthday. It actually was our first attempt at cake pops and through this experience we learned many things. Working with candy is not a easy task. You have to make sure not to overheat it or it will curdle. You have to make sure when dipping the cake that you cover the stick or the cake pop will fall off and lastly you have to be quick because candy dries fast. The cake, which was 3 tiers was topped with a little mini mouse inspired hat and figure. The cupcakes were also topped with 2 ears and a bow to look like minis head.
