Tinker Bell 10th Month Birthday Cake

This Tinker Bell cake was made for a 10th month birthday. Inside is our NEW Red Velvet recipe. No food color added, instead we used beets to color the cake batter red. The beets help keep the cake moist and eliminates the taste of the red food coloring. Little Tinker Bell is not edible but we thought it would be extra special for the baby to have a toy to remember this cake by. The special thing about Tinker Bell is that her wings actually light up. The little free standing sign is made out of a very strong flower wire. This was one of our favorite cakes thus far. Not only was it fun to make but the detail we put into it made for a incredible cake to just look at. It is hard to tell by the picture but the cake only stands 6 inches tall. The detail in the flowers, leafs and steams made for a beautiful cake for a babies 10th month birthday. Happy 10th month Yzobelle! We can't wait to make your 1 year cake!!!!
