Friday night was time to make Rhys' cake. The concept was a lot easier to work with than the Woodland cake, but we did have some challenges with this cake. For one, we intended to put a soccer net just right above the jersey, but fondant seems to be proving difficult to work with (next time, we are using gumpaste!) Nevertheless, the cake was quite successful. We had comments later on from Michelle that the cake was a huge hit of the party. Yay! Bryn, whose birthday is less than a week away can't wait to see his cake and hopes that his is better than his brother's :)
